- Age: You must be aged 18 or over.
- Residency: You must be a permanent UK resident with a UK address history.
- Income: You need a regular income; the provider sets its own minimum.
- Bank account: You need a UK bank or building society current account to set up repayments.
- Credit check: You must not have been bankrupt in the last 18 months or hold another NewDay card (Aqua, marbles, opus, Fluid) taken out in the last 12 months.
