📋 Eligibility
- Age: You must be aged 18 or over.
- Residency: You must be a permanent UK resident with a UK address history.
- Income: American Express asks for an income of at least £20,000 a year for its personal cards.
- Bank account: You need a UK bank or building society current account to set up repayments.
- Credit check: You should have no history of bad debt; a full credit check is made and the card appears on your credit file.
